Pasture Raised Eggs

We believe in managing our livestock to enhance our farm. We rotate our cattle frequently in their growing stage to fertilize our pasture and keep the grass in a growing cycle. We graze our chickens behind our cattle. The chickens scratch through the manure spreading it out, looking for any fly larva and insects. This disperses the fertilizer from the cattle more evenly and keeps down on unwanted insects. The chickens also fertilize the pasture and they get to eat a natural diet. By working our livestock in this way, they play an important roll in building our soils ability to store carbon from the atmosphere, ultimately enhancing our environment. Our chickens are also supplemented with a Soy Free, Non-GMO grain. This paired with their natural diet and frequent rotation lead to their ability to develop an egg that is rich in nutrients that you can’t find in the supermarket. Once you crack one open you will immediately see the difference. Our eggs are gathered daily, cleaned and packaged for our customers. Our eggs are $5 a dozen and available for sale in our on farm market on Saturdays, or for preorder on our website. Check our webstore for availability.
